Can I get a woop woop?!

So were done! How does everyone feel?

At first I was feeling a bit blue and down, thinking that my piece wasn't good enough. I'm now trying to detach my self from it and celebrate the fact that I handed something in. Big pat on the back for all and a little celebration is in order I think. Until we get results of course, not that it matters as I've detached myself from the pressure - Honest!...

  1. "Woop woop!" - There you go Ahmet! :-)

At each stage of this course I found myself experiencing a combination of contradicting feelings and emotions.
Firstly, I think we should celebrate. We took a huge step to return to the education system in the formal academic sense after so many years and we have succeed in putting into words our learnings of module one. (except for the slight fear that perhaps I haven't written it in the correct way, with the correct citations, in the correct context. Whoops! Did I say succeeded!?) So...as with everything in life we feel confident about certain aspects and anxious about others. Anxiety and nerves are the underlying adrenalin that we, as performers and creatives thrive on and need a certain amount of, that is enough of, before it becomes too intense and too uncomfortable.
Even as I write this, I have slight butterflies wondering if I should be writing up my thoughts and feelings for all to see!? Oh well, why stop now eh?!
I feel relieved that the first assignment is complete and yes, I agree that we need to pat ourselves and each other on the back to say well done.
Now we must use what we have learnt in module one to assist us with our professional practice. Alike the cycle of refection, we have to continue questioning, interpreting and actioning to improve our methods of working.....
Well done Ahmet. It will all be worth it in the end.
(P.S did you notice Paula's Blog re. module 3 students having to do an oral presentation?! Not to worry ourselves about now, but definitely worth preparing ourselves for!)
    Take care & enjoy experimenting.x
